We are seeking a qualified Registered Physiotherapist to provide community-based physiotherapy services to adults and children in Durham Region. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team to provide high-quality care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide ministry-funded, community-based physiotherapy services to clients in their place of residence
- Perform physiotherapy assessments and develop goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers
- Assign patient care plans and provide supervision and monitoring of physiotherapy assistants when appropriate
- Provide education to clients and caregivers and link to community agencies and resources when necessary
- Complete and maintain documentation related to assessment findings, care plans, progress, and discharge summaries according to CAR and College of Physiotherapists of Ontario standards
- Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Experience working in a community setting is preferred but new graduates will be considered
- Ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team
- Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling, and meet reporting deadlines
- Excellent oral, written, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency with computers
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation is required for this position
