We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Tapis Venture. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, and repair or replace defective machinery parts.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
- Specialized Tasks: Perform start-up and testing, rigging and handling, troubleshooting, computerized alignment, and programmable logic controller (PLC) tasks.
- Work Environment: Work in a noisy environment, standing for extended periods, and handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Language: English or French.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
