Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA). As part of the ONxpress consortium, we are working to transform the collective mobility of the region through the On-Corridor Works project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze input needs and requirements to design solutions that meet customer and industry standards.
  • Provide technical interface with non-signaling teams, including rolling stock, electrification, Civil and Track, and Operations and Maintenance.
  • Formalize and maintain system specifications, application rules, and supporting processes descriptions.
  • Support the System Engineering Manager/Project Engineering Manager for technical answers to project needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Systems Engineering or equivalent design experience.
  • 7 years of experience working on signaling projects as a sub-system or system engineer, desired.
  • Professional Engineer certification or in progress.
