About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at J and K Heating Ltd. as a Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications and ensuring that all welds meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting equipment
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Determine weldability of materials and ensure safe handling practices
Work Environment

As a Welder at J and K Heating Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced commercial environment with various locations. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required
