Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

At Canada Inc., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to transport goods and materials across the country. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a tractor-trailer unit, ensuring timely delivery of cargo, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, including pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods.
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
Working Conditions

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to sit for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
