Role Overview
We are in search of a skilled Principal Medical Writer to lead a team of scientific and medical communications writers and supervise the development of various deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Principal Medical Writer (50% billable target):
- Deliver exceptional writing for designated projects that align with client specifications, regulatory standards, and the intended audience.
- Evaluate written materials to ensure quality assurance.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to articulate scientific and clinical concepts and encourage discussions.
Team Leader:
- Manage the performance and productivity of the medical writing team, ensuring effective deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Identify and execute process enhancement initiatives.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor new team members.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences or a related health field is preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in medical communications writing.
- Proven experience in mentoring and managing performance.
- Outstanding writing and content creation skills.
- Fluency in English.
