Position Overview

The Senior Vice President for Health, Education, Social and Community Services at Liaison College is responsible for overseeing a wide range of organizational functions aimed at enhancing community welfare and educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Management: Allocate essential material, human, and financial resources to effectively implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Departmental Leadership: Authorize and organize the creation of major departments and appoint senior staff positions.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate the activities of various regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish clear objectives for the organization and formulate or approve relevant policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization during official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate necessary authority and create optimal working conditions.
  • Financial Oversight: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and oversee comprehensive human resources planning.
Supervision

Manage a team of approximately 3-4 individuals.

Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Employment Duration: This is a permanent position.
  • Working Language: English is the primary language of work.
  • Work Hours: The role requires a commitment of 42 hours per week.
