Youth Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Academy Powerplay Daycare. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities and engage children in learning experiences, including storytelling, singing, and hands-on crafts, to foster their curiosity and creativity.
- Child Support: Assist children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom, while promoting independence and self-confidence.
- Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and identify potential learning or behavioral challenges, preparing comprehensive reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
- Environment and Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment that supports the well-being of our children, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest quality care and education for our children.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Child care centre.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
