  2. Independently manage and review tax files and engagements with precision and efficiency.

  4. Engage with tax authorities regarding audits and appeals, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  5. Lead intricate engagements, nurturing client relationships while delivering high-quality tax advice and identifying opportunities for service expansion.
  6. Assess client issues and risk tolerance, offering suitable firm services to address their needs.
  7. Exhibit a deep understanding of the client's industry, market dynamics, and key performance indicators, effectively communicating insights to clients.
  8. Identify and resolve complex accounting and tax challenges.
  9. Delegate tasks effectively across all levels of staff, ensuring smooth workflow.
  10. Provide mentorship and training to staff members, fostering their professional growth within the firm.
  11. Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  12. Oversee client relationships, driving new business opportunities while ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  13. Guide and support other managers and junior staff through mentorship.

Qualifications

  1. Completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Public Practice with a focus on tax specialization.
  3. Experience with owner-managed private companies is advantageous.
  4. Exceptional project management, time management, and leadership capabilities.
  5. Innovative mindset, thriving in team-oriented and client-focused settings.
  6. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  7. Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills.
  8. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  9. Commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail.
  10. Analytical problem-solving skills.
  11. Familiarity with CaseWare / Caseview and TaxPrep is a plus.
  12. Experience in a paperless work environment is beneficial.
  13. Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
