About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at MUNCHKIN MANSION EARLY LEARNING CENTRE INC. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy environment, including housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings.
  • Support children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods.
  • Monitor children's progress and report to parents, guardians, or supervisors as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification.
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
