Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at REAL Residence Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account residents' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Assist residents with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging residents in activities and conversations.
  • Administer medications and assist with medical procedures, as required.
  • Document resident care and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:

Our residence provides a supportive and inclusive environment, with a focus on resident-centered care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the day.

Language:

The primary language spoken in our residence is English.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
