Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Read blueprints and instructions to determine work requirements and procedures.
  • Assist experienced carpenters and construction workers with tasks such as drilling and blasting rock, framing houses, and erecting walls and roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Work Environment:

The Carpenter Helper will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often outdoors, at heights, underground, and in confined spaces. The work may be physically demanding and require working in hot and dusty conditions.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work at heights, underground, and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions.
