Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Soft Tex Pillows. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machinery, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including carding, sewing, and sealing machines
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, oiling, and greasing equipment
• Validate the durability of equipment parts and prepare maintenance schedules as needed
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Support contractors and electricians in the plant
• Occasionally work on weekends to perform major preventive maintenance

Shift Schedule

Our ideal candidate will work a 40-hour schedule in 4 days and a half, with a detailed shift schedule as follows:

Day Shift: 7h00 AM to 16h15 AM from Monday to Thursday and 7h00 AM to 11h45 AM Friday

Requirements

• Good physical condition
• DEP in industrial mechanic or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience (asset)
• Certain flexibility in work schedule
