Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our production team at our Cambridge, Ontario facility. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work completed.
- Interface with suppliers and outside support personnel to resolve issues and obtain necessary resources.
- Work in a safe manner, demonstrating good workmanship and practices.
Requirements:
- Certificate of Qualification in Industrial Mechanic and Industrial Electrician.
- Level One (Gas Technician GT-1) is preferred, but not required.
- Proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Knowledge of plant safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office components and Adobe Acrobat.
- Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs (CMMS).
- Ability to troubleshoot various types of industrial equipment.
- Ability to read equipment blueprints/schematics.
- Ability to safely operate power/hand tools and related safety equipment.

- Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
