Operations Supervisor Job Description

GardaWorld Cash, a leading security company, is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee its Cash Transportation division.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage the work of unionized employees
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Act as a resource person for staff members in the assigned territory
  • Collaborate with supervisors and staff to establish and implement policies and objectives
  • Promote safe work practices and conduct safety audits
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure budget compliance
  • Investigate customer or shipper complaints and improve safety procedures
  • Participate in the disciplinary process and grievance settlement
Requirements:
  • Valid Restricted and Non-Restricted Federal Firearms License (PAL)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in personnel management in a unionized environment
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Possession of a firearm license (an asset)
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and judgment skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
