Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drywall installation techniques and a commitment to producing flawless finishes.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints for a smooth, professional finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and enhance durability.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using trowels and broad knives for a seamless appearance.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets accurately and efficiently.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists according to building codes and specifications.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow each coat to dry thoroughly for optimal adhesion and finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound for a strong and durable bond.
Qualifications:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Drywall Finisher.
Work Environment:

This position requires working in construction sites, which may involve exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. Safety gear will be provided.
