About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Clerk at Maxi. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Cash Handling and Operations: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments in a secure and efficient manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, communicate effectively with customers and team members, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work 32 to 40 hours per week is required.
