As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will join an interprofessional team dedicated to caring for a diverse pediatric population, ranging from newborns to 18 years of age.
Work Schedule:This position requires 12-hour shifts, including day, evening, and night rotations. The successful candidate will be expected to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call duties as necessary.
Compensation:Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing with the ability to work autonomously.
- NRP certification is preferred at the time of application but must be obtained within three months of employment.
- PALS certification is also preferred upon application and required within three months of starting.
- Current registration with the nursing regulatory body.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) is preferred or evidence of progress towards this qualification.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Membership in a nursing association is preferred.
- Strong physical assessment skills and proficient computer literacy.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient and family-centered care.
- Exemplary critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Well-developed organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and leadership experience.
- Proven track record of good attendance and performance.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to policies and best practices.
