About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Town Autobody and Car Sales ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle problems, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are safe and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including adjustments, replacements, and testing of mechanical units and components.
  • Customer Communication: Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and maintenance to customers and advising them on future repair requirements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including problem identification and repair details.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient and effective vehicle repair and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency
