Job Title: Handyman and Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: Elevate RS Corp is seeking a skilled Handyman and Maintenance Technician to provide top-notch repair and maintenance services for our commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various repair and maintenance techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
  • Install, repair, and maintain fixtures, appliances, and systems, such as lighting, heating, and cooling.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
  • Assemble furniture and equipment as required.
  • Repair drywall, including patching holes and repainting.
  • Install and repair flooring, including tile, laminate, and hardwood.
  • Handle landscaping and outdoor maintenance tasks, such as fence repairs and deck installation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with appliances, systems, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local safety codes and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to assess needs, provide updates on project status, and offer recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with project planning and budgeting when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as needed on larger projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of various repair and maintenance techniques.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical skills are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
