What we offer: We provide a competitive compensation package that includes a salary range of $48 to $49 per hour, immediate access to health and dental benefits, and RRSP matching after one year of service. When considering the total compensation, this equates to an hourly rate between $51.19 and $52.22.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend pre-construction meetings and possess a comprehensive understanding of project schedules and drawings.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Forepersons to develop project-specific work packages.
- Update work packages and support project scheduling by coordinating labor requirements.
- Maintain professionalism in client and contractor interactions.
- Ensure timely ordering of materials and manage the release of lot materials.
- Assist Site Forepersons in creating RFIs and accurate material requests.
- Oversee safety documentation and training compliance.
- Mentor Site Forepersons and ensure accurate timekeeping.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and adhere to safety protocols.
- Act as a Foreperson as needed.
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician Certificate is mandatory.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada is required.
- Experience leading electrical construction projects in multi-family residential and commercial settings is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills are crucial.
- Leadership abilities and excellent organizational skills are required.
- Knowledge of safety training and relevant certifications is advantageous.
- Valid class 5 driver's license is required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including out-of-town assignments, is expected.
