We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Woodland Doors. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial wooden structures.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
