Position Overview

As a Residential Care Aide at Chandraj Dhawan, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of support within their own homes. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of personal care tasks aimed at promoting independence and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment

The position is based in a non-smoking environment, primarily within the homes of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as needed.
  • Assist clients with regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Manage laundry duties for clothing and household linens.
  • Perform minor repairs on clothing and linens.
  • Conduct light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Support clients with personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Shop for groceries and household necessities.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals tailored to client needs.

Physical Requirements

Applicants should be capable of:
