Humber River Health is seeking an experienced Integration Specialist Developer to join our team. As an Integration Specialist Developer, you will play a critical role in supporting the IT Development division of the hospital and providing technical expertise in data integration and interface development.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement complex data integration solutions using HL7, XML, and JSON messaging standards and structures.
- Develop and implement API protocols and programming using XML, JSON, SWL, Java/Jee,.NET Programming, and frameworks.
- Analyze, develop, and troubleshoot HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and other healthcare data standards.
- Design and develop technical infrastructure in a healthcare setting, including UNIX/LINUX and/or Windows.
- Develop, design, test, and implement integration solutions using Biztalk Engine, Tcl/TK, XML, X12, TCP/IP, SSL, FTP, Web Services, Java script, Perl, Cache Object Script.
- Analyze data and problem-solve to identify and resolve integration issues.
- Communicate solutions and document content to ensure seamless integration and data exchange.
- Design and execute queries upon request for data analysis and reporting.
- Manage security issues, permissions, updates, and maintenance of Biztalk and other integration tools.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members in development, implementation, and testing of integration solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to design, configure, and test interfaces, and troubleshoot integration issues.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent amount of education and work experience.
- Certificate in Project Management an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hospital information systems with an understanding of data integration and interface development.
- Indepth knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, capabilities, and limitations.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing SharePoint Online using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- 3+ years knowledge of SQL queries, SQL server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
- 3+ years knowledge of Oracle, Crystal Reporting, or SQL Server Databases.
- Strong experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience with Meditech Data Repository an asset.
- Hand-on knowledge of Health Level 8 (HL7) an asset.
- Excellent attendance and discipline-free record required.
