About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Graduate Development Program at Rio Tinto. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects and develop your skills in research, design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment, components, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in electrical systems and equipment
  • Design and develop electrical systems and equipment to meet the needs of our operations
  • Test and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Less than two years of relevant work experience
  • Right to work in Canada
  • Valid driver's license
  • Commitment to safety and a strong safety mindset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
