Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 1 to 2 years is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience is expected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, as well as computer workstations and associated peripheral devices.
  • Assess and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system applications.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to network users.
  • Establish and enforce data, software, and hardware security protocols.
  • Conduct routine network startups and shutdowns while maintaining accurate control records.
  • Execute data backup procedures and disaster recovery plans.
  • Utilize network traffic and security monitoring tools to enhance server performance.
  • Modify web pages, applets, and scripts as necessary.
  • Address inquiries for assistance and information from website visitors and designers.
  • Carry out web server backup and recovery tasks.
