Position SummaryWe are in search of a seasoned Guidewire PolicyCenter Specialist to become a part of our expanding team at Cognizant. Our strength lies in our collaborative spirit. The variety of backgrounds within our team provides a broad spectrum of perspectives and innovative ideas. This fosters engaging discussions, promotes thought leadership, and enables us to develop superior solutions for our clients and workforce. Key Responsibilities- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter is essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Guidewire application suite, particularly PolicyCenter, is required.
- Proven experience in managing Guidewire applications, with a strong understanding of configuration and integration components.
- Proficiency in GOSU programming is mandatory.
- Familiarity with agile development tools such as GitHub, SVN, Maven, and Jenkins is expected.
- Working knowledge of Java, Java web technologies, JavaScript, SQL, and Guidewire Edge is beneficial.
- Implement best practices in relevant technologies.
- In-depth understanding of the insurance sector is crucial.
- Guidewire Ace Certification is a requirement.
- Experience with Sumologic is advantageous.
- Ability to finalize tools, software, and frameworks necessary for development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Lead and manage technology governance throughout the scope of the program.
