What You'll Do:

  • Lead a team of technical professionals to drive process control, productivity, and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with local managers to plan, budget, and deliver on P&L targets.
  • Ensure staffing plans are forecasted, updated, and delivered to maximize customer service and meet our service commitments.
  • Measure, monitor, and drive achievement of all operational metrics, providing appropriate reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth through installation, customer satisfaction, and future business growth.
  • Coach and manage a team to maximize their performance, engagement, and achievement of objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for establishing relationships with independent HVAC installation contractors.
  • Drive excellence through our 3rd party partners by finding, selecting, and negotiating agreements that align with our strategy and goals.
  • Perform regular reviews of cost, quality, safety, and productivity metrics, setting plans and executing them effectively to drive optimal performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to continually improve team performance and drive a culture of service excellence.
  • Deliver prompt and efficient resolution to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensure exceeding install gross margin.

What We're Looking For:

  • A growth mindset, with a strong sense of integrity, urgency, and passion for high performance.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience overseeing a field operations team.
  • Knowledge and technical experience within the HVAC and/or water heater industry.
  • Gas Fitter 2 or 313d license (an asset).
  • Sales experience and a demonstrated ability to meet sales quotas (an asset).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong ability to develop effective relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in a management role within a unionized environment (an asset).
