Position Overview:
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff invites applications for the role of Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about teaching and dedicated to fostering student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging face-to-face or online introductory courses.
- Develop and organize course materials, including syllabi, lectures, and assignments.
- Evaluate student performance through grading of papers, quizzes, and exams.
- Assess student grades based on participation, class performance, and assignments.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a minimum of a master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a relevant field. Previous experience in university-level teaching as an Adjunct Professor or in a similar capacity is required. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
Additional Information:
Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
