Job Summary

The Learning Tree Daycare Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to detail.
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise and support staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Establish clear guidelines for behavior and maintain a positive, respectful atmosphere.
  • Attend regular staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges, and contribute to the development of our programs.
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in our before- and after-school programs, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in early childhood education is an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work 35 hours per week.
