Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Instructor. As a key member of our Rural Clinical Nurse Educator team, you will play a vital role in supporting the professional development and ongoing continuing education of our acute care and emergency staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff and the multi-disciplinary clinical team.
- Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff, including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development.
- Collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence-informed practice.
- Contribute to the planning, coordination, and evaluation of education programs to ensure safe, quality patient and family-centered care.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
- 5 years of recent clinical experience in acute care and/or emergency.
- Proficiency in clinical skills inherent in the RN scope of practice.
- Experience or training in the delivery of adult education is preferred, as is Connect Care experience.
