Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply built-up roofing systems utilizing materials like asphalt-saturated felts along with hot asphalt and gravel
  • Install or replace roofing materials including asphalt shingles, wooden shingles, shakes, and masonry or baked clay tiles on inclined roofs
  • Implement single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphalt-based compositions
  • Conduct repairs or replacements of shingles and shakes on sloped roofs
  • Install and maintain metal roofing using both hand and power tools

Physical Demands:

  • Physically intensive work
  • Requires bending, crouching, and kneeling
