Role Overview

As an Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing financial statements and tax returns for selected clients
  • Assisting Senior Managers in preparing for tax planning meetings and identifying opportunities
  • Mentoring and supervising a talented team of Associates and Senior Associates
  • Conducting accounting and tax research and analysis
  • Managing requests from the Canada Revenue Agency

Additional Skills and Requirements

  • A passion for technology and quick adaptability to new software
  • Canadian CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a small to mid-sized accounting firm
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and financial statements
  • Experience managing a diverse team of associates
  • Familiarity with online accounting software (e.g., Xero, QBO, Wagepoint, Dext, Hubdoc)
  • Reliable internet connection with adequate speed
