About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Big Fresh. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Requirements: Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Information Systems Development: Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • IT Strategy and Advice: Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery to ensure that our IT systems are aligned with our business needs.
  • Security Risk Assessment: Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems.
  • Contingency Planning: Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches and ensure business continuity.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems to ensure they meet our company's standards.
  • Testing and Execution: Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests to ensure that our IT systems are functioning as expected.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities and promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
