Island Health is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Port Hardy and Port McNeill. This is an exciting opportunity to practice rural health and provide full spectrum Primary Care to Emergency Services in the Mount Waddington region.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide longitudinal primary care to patients in the community
- Offer on-call ER coverage, averaging six to eight shifts per month
- Participate in a group practice with neighboring rural physicians
Various remuneration models are available, including Fee-For-Service, Longitudinal Family Practice Payment Model, New to Practice or APP clinical service contract. Additional monetary incentives, such as medical on-call payments, are also offered.
Work Environment:Our Primary Care Clinics are open Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. Flexible hours and a supportive team environment make this an ideal opportunity for a Family Medicine Physician looking to make a difference in rural health.
