Job Summary:

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, as well as supervising staff and training them on financial procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance on financial procedures and best practices.
  • Train staff on financial software and systems, including QuickBooks.
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.
  • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Examine accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice to management and staff.
  • Act as trustee in bankruptcy proceedings, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software and systems, including QuickBooks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
