Relief Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Neighbourly Pharmacy. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing safe and effective drug therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Focus on clinical services, including medication reviews, disease state management, and patient education.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient progress.
  • Administer vaccines and determine the appropriateness of drug therapy.
  • Monitor medication adherence and collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
  • Recommend OTC products and vitamins, and answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment.
  • Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities.
Requirements:
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists.
  • Certificate of Injection for Drug Administration.
  • Familiarity with Kroll/Pharamclik Rx is an asset.
  • A minimum of one year's experience as a retail Pharmacist is preferred.
