We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at SQ.1 Pharmacy Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and third-party insurers, ensuring timely and accurate billing and claims processing.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventories of medications and prescription records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supply Chain Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Claims Processing: Process claims from health insurance and workers' compensation providers, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Communication: Interpret physician's specifications and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
