We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Castlegar Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care services to attached and unattached patients in the Kootenay Boundary Primary Care Network (PCN)
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide education to patients and families
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC)
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
