Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at CanAm Physician Recruiting Inc.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Manage trauma, STEMI, stroke, and code blue patients
  • Collaborate with a well-organized and collegial team
  • Participate in the management of the Emergency Department
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of PEI
  • Eligibility for appointment to the Health PEI Medical Staff and appropriate privileging
  • Candidates must have FRCP(EM), CCFP (EM) or comparable emergency department experience
Benefits
  • $175.00 per hour
  • 31% of submitted and approved shadow-billing based on the Master Agreement between the Medical Society of PEI, the Government of Prince Edward Island and Health PEI
  • Nights, weekends and holidays are paid at a premium
  • Additional separate billing fees from third-party payers
