Currently, we are looking for a Fugitive Emissions Analyst to join our Emission Management & Services Team, operating from our Calgary office. This role will primarily focus on conducting fugitive emissions assessments in accordance with regulatory directives and performing engine testing under the Multi-Sector Air Pollutants Regulation (MSAPR).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct fugitive emissions surveys utilizing gas-imaging technology.
  2. Measure leaks with Hi Flow Sampler, Gas Detectors, US EPA Method 21, or similar instruments.
  3. Label leaking components with designated tags and document findings using digital devices.
  4. Assist in preparing fugitive emissions reports as per regulatory requirements.
  5. Perform equipment inventories for pneumatic controllers, vents, pumps, and gas-fired apparatus.
  6. Execute compressor vent testing in compliance with regulatory directives.
  7. Carry out emission testing for engines and boilers under the MSAPR.
  8. Support senior team members on various projects.
  9. Ensure timely and effective completion of project requirements.
Qualifications:
  1. Preferred candidates will possess a degree or technical diploma in environmental science or a related field.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in upstream and midstream oil and gas operations.
  3. Familiarity with AER Directive 060, MOE PNG036, BC DPR, and MSAPR.
  4. Willingness to travel and work in field conditions for extended periods.
  5. Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
  6. Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills.
  7. Valid driver's license.
  8. Good physical condition and capability to work outdoors in varying conditions and at heights.
  9. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
