Child Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Worker to join our team at Jelibean Daycare Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes creating a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes learning and exploration.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement child-care programs that meet the needs of children aged 0-12 years
- Plan and lead activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
- Supervise and support the development of children's skills and abilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective team approach
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition of care
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
- Experience working with children aged 0-12 years
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
