The Métis Nation British Columbia is seeking a highly skilled Justice Policy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Ministry of Justice, you will play a critical role in providing intersectional, trauma-informed research and analysis on justice issues impacting Métis people.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed research and analyze policy developments to inform legislative actions, programs, awareness campaigns, and funding approaches.
- Make recommendations for policy changes and program development to address justice issues affecting Métis communities.
- Participate in committees and project teams to ensure Métis voices and experiences are integrated into all reports, research, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to drive innovative solutions and advance justice for Métis people.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, policy, or social sciences.
- 3-5 years of experience in policy analysis, research, or a related field.
