About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Sechelt Dental Centre. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with Dentists on Patient Care

Collaborate with our dentists to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, ensuring optimal oral health and well-being.

Clean and Stimulate the Gums to Prevent Gum Disease

Utilize your expertise to clean and stimulate patients' gums, preventing gum disease and promoting overall oral health.

Apply Fluoride Treatment

Administer fluoride treatment to patients to help prevent tooth decay and strengthen tooth enamel.

Remove Stains and Deposits from Teeth

Use your skills to remove stains and deposits from patients' teeth, leaving them with a brighter and healthier smile.

Administer Local Anesthetics

Administer local anesthetics to patients to ensure a comfortable and pain-free experience during dental procedures.

Take, Develop, and Mount X-rays

Take, develop, and mount X-rays to help diagnose and monitor patients' oral health.

Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses

Ensure you hold the necessary certifications, licenses, and memberships to practice as a Dental Hygienist, and stay up-to-date with the latest courses and training.

Security and Safety

Ensure you are eligible for professional liability insurance and adhere to all security and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
