About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at 2346001 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, ensuring high-quality dishes are presented to our customers.
  • Develop and implement new menu items, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Participate in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management to optimize profitability and efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on presentation, flavor, and texture.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Standing for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
