About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Designer to join our team at Fed ManuTech. As an Electrical Designer, you will play a key role in the development of electrical systems for our clients in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical design systems to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Establish design approaches for new projects and manage product development from concept to prototype testing
  • Provide technical support to production and assembly teams, as well as contribute to product evaluations and system testing
  • Participate in technical writing and provide technical assistance to after-sales service
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical manufacturing
  • DEP, DEC or BAC in Electrical Engineering or relevant equivalent
  • Bilingual French - English, an asset
  • Knowledge of electrical design and embedded systems development, as well as electrical knowledge and experience in the transportation field
  • Proficiency in SolidEdge Electrical design software, or equivalent, and knowledge of SAE, CMVSS or FMVSS standards, MRP software, and Office suite
What We Offer
