About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing security solutions for our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of security architecture practices, processes, governance, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain security architecture aligned with business strategies and compliance requirements.
- Identify and assess security risks related to technology projects and propose appropriate solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate security controls into systems, networks, and applications from the design phase.
- Monitor emerging security trends and threats and recommend updates or improvements to the existing security architecture.
- Ensure security architectures comply with current standards and regulations.
- Create and maintain security architecture documentation, including data flow diagrams, security controls, and risk assessments.
- Provide technical advice and support to project teams to integrate security practices into development and operations.
- Participate in the investigation of security incidents and work with incident response teams to enhance existing controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of knowledge and experience in security architecture, with a strong understanding of network, application, and infrastructure security concepts.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
- Technical skills in security technologies and a strong knowledge of security frameworks.
- Analytical skills to assess security risks and design practical solutions to mitigate them.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse technical and non-technical teams to achieve security objectives.
- Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec.
