Job Description:Job Summary: As a Construction Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, measuring weight, and performing pre-operational inspections. You will also be involved in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, as well as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
- Measuring weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
- Performing pre-operational inspections
- Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
- Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
- Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
- Performing routine maintenance work
- Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
- Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements:
