Key Responsibilities- Identify Opportunities: Match members with the right financial products and solutions that help shape their financial fitness.
- Meet Sales Targets: Exceed sales targets and referral goals by providing exceptional customer service and financial expertise.
- Participate in Business Development: Assist in business development plans through corporate/branch marketing campaigns and participate in sales initiatives.
- Develop Ongoing Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on current investment/retail banking services and products, including mutual funds, underwriting, credits, loans, and investment needs.
- Promote Referrals: Promote referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking teams, and 3rd party providers.
- Build Market Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends.
- Adhere to Policies: Adhere to all audits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks of fraud or loss.
- Provide Outstanding Member Experience: Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to Servus' best practices.
- Contribute to Team Culture: Contribute to Servus' unparalleled culture of teamwork, positivity, and collaboration.
- Adapt to Changing Environment: Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to different locations, team dynamics, and membership base.
- Maintain Positive Image: Maintain Servus' positive image in the community.
To qualify, you will need at least 2 years of retail banking or related financial industry experience, preferably in sales or customer service and a high school diploma. Although not required, the following education/certificates are valuable assets:
- Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
- Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC)
- Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)
- Financial Planning I (FP1)
