EHN Canada is a leading provider of mental health, trauma, and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a residential treatment program.

Job Summary:

The LPN will provide medical care, recovery therapies, and everyday support to clients in our detox and addictions residential treatment program. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct clinical nursing assessments and gather medical/mental health/substance use history
  • Administer medications and provide nursing care and interventions
  • Monitor vital signs and provide support to clients during medically supervised detox
  • Document nursing assessments, care, and progress in our electronic medical record system
  • Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and assist in establishing and updating policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Certificate from a recognized Health Care Worker educational program
  • Experience in a related field an asset
  • Trauma-informed training/experience an asset
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent diploma
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Level C
  • Clear Criminal record check through the Ministry of Justice
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License in good standing
